Bio:
Founder Michelle L'Eplattenier is a New York State art teacher and earned her degree from Adelphi University's fine Art Education program. The goals of this studio are to encourage students to become familiar and comfortable with the basic elements of art (color, line, shape, form, texture, space). To be able to use art related vocabulary when explaining their artwork.

As a teacher, Ms. L'Eplattenier explains and demonstrates many techniques and mediums that will generate curiosity in your child. This curiosity will encourage creative growth and develop a love for creative expression. A strong commitement to the environment is evident in that she only uses recycled paper with her own artwork and when working the kids they conserve paper as much as possible. Also drawing animals that are endangered species, learning to appreciate the pure relationship we have with nature's beasts, buiding respect from an early age.

Michelle lives in downtown Austin, TX  and enjoys hot days and taking care of her bunny rabbit, Snowball.
